Organizing a charity is exciting… and very scary. I have been blessed with an incredible community. Together we have done wonderful things. Like the ALS fundraiser in 2017 and the Little People Charity in 2018. Over $4,000 raised to charity so far. Incredible.

This December I would like the community to come together again and lend a helping hand to “Teach for Romania,” because every child deserves a chance to education. You can support this charity not only by donating, but also by spreading the word, telling a friend about the fundraiser, or educating other people about the NGO.

THE CAUSE:

“Teach for Romania is a NGO, part of the Teach for All global network and is a large scale program that seeks a long term transformational impact on the Romanian education system. The organization recruits the most valuable young Romanians, trains them as inspirational teachers and supports them to become leaders in education.”

Did you know that you can secure 30 minutes of high-quality education for a disadvantaged child in Romania with $5.00?

There is an alarming rate of school dropouts and functional illiteracy in Romania. Thousands of children from disadvantaged, rural, or vulnerable schools do not get the chance at a proper education due to many reasons, such as poor infrastructure and inadequate pay for teachers. “Teach for Romania” proposes a new approach to learning and is trying to make a positive impact through innovative teaching.

The foundation works closely with the Ministry of Education to integrate teachers who may not have considered this profession, into schools that are in dire need of their guidance. “Teach for Romania” trains individuals from all walks of life who want to provide a better future for children. In the 2019-2020 school year, 135 educators trained by the organization are teaching, in 108 schools, to 10,000 children.

1. Donate Directly to the Charity

Use the widget below, or this link, to donate anonymously, directly to the foundation. This is the best way to support Teach for Romania, as there are no fees involved when submitting the donation.

2. Donate Through My Stream

2.1. Donate Using Tiltify or TipeeStream

If you’d prefer supporting the charity directly through my stream, contribute to the community goal, or simply want your dono to pop on stream, you can donate through Tiltify using your card or Paypal. You can also donate with Paysafecard or other method through my TipeeStream account. I will forward the total sum collected through the Tipee at the end of the campaign (December 24, 2019) and cover all transaction fees.

NOTE: By donating through this method, you will prompt an alert on my stream and be eligible for community and individual rewards. Donations sent through Tiltify go STRAIGHT to the charity, with no fees on your side. When you make a contribution through TipeeStreeam, a small fee is deducted (read more about fees), which I will cover before the final transfer.

2.1. Donations from Twitch Revenue

I will be donating all my recurring Twitch revenue between December 1 and December 24, 2019 to the cause. If you want to benefit from emotes and other channel perks, you can subscribe to my channel.

All the revenue I obtain through Twitch subscriptions, bits, ads, and gifted subs will be forwarded to “Teach for Romania”. Please keep in mind that Twitch keeps a percentage of the revenue, so the most effective way to donate would be through the NGO’s link provided above!
